Himalayense Geranium Seeds Of Wisdom

You can make a tea from dried or fresh leaves. For dried leaves, use 2 teaspoons, for fresh use Ľ cup. Pour 1 cup of boiling water over the leaves and let sit for 5 minutes. Strain the leaves out and drink.

Geraniums need 6 hours of sun every day to flourish so plant them in a spot that is at least partially sunny.

Geraniums will grow just as well in outdoor planters as in your garden bed. The key is to make sure you pick a planter big enough to support growth of the plant. Use a soil that has plenty of aeration like a commercial mix or garden dirt mixed with perlite. Use a container that will drain well and even add some rocks to the bottom so that your plant does not sit in the water. Plant in a sunny spot that is protected from strong wind. Fertilize monthly and water weekly.

These perennials have many varieties included scented and ivy geranium particularly for a hanging basket. It is commonly found in moist wooded areas or along stream banks, and can be easily recognized. Geranium multisectum is a lovely, soft herbaceous perennial. This plant commonly found at your local greenhouse is actually a native wildflower of this region.
