The lemon scented geranium is a tall, spikey plant that can be grown in containers. It grows up to 2 feet tall and yields pink flowers. The leaves smell like lemon when crushed and this plant has many culinary uses.

  • The geranium can be a beautiful outdoor potted plant as well as planted directly in your flower beds.
  • Make sure you plants get at least 6 hours of sun each day and are protected from strong winds.
  • Soil conditions should be slightly acidic and well drained.

    Geraniums grow nicely in patio containers and planters. Make sure you use a soil mixture that drains well (soil and peat moss or perlite) and do not over water. It is important to keep your plant in a container that is large enough to support growth or you will find the plant will wilt and look unhealthy.
